Information For Authors

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that contribute to the understanding and appreciation of the history, heritage, and people of the Lower Albany area and surrounding regions.

The journal welcomes:

  • Research and reflective essays
  • Local and family histories
  • Reviews of relevant books, events, and exhibitions
  • Transcribed or annotated archival documents
  • Personal reminiscences and historical anecdotes

Submission and Review

Toposcope is a society-based publication and does not employ a formal peer review process. The Editorial Committee reviews submissions for relevance, clarity, and appropriateness of content. The Editor reserves the right to make editorial changes and to reject submissions not aligned with the journal’s aims.

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx) to: The Toposcope Editor.

Authors retain copyright of their work. By submitting, authors agree to make their work available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.
